Stroke Allowance is 100%. Playing Handicaps are as prescribed in the WHS rules
according to the course being played. See notice board for a table of Playing
Handicaps. Higher
handicapper will receive strokes to the full difference in Playing Handicaps
Tees:-
Red.
Contact
Details:- Players must
enter their contact details on the draw sheet within two weeks of the draw
being made.
Dates:-
Date for each round will be published by the organising committee. Players
may agree to play at any time before the stipulated date, but players must
endeavour to contact their opponent at least two weeks before the stipulated
date to arrange a time/date for their match. Players are responsible for
booking their own tee times. It is expected that all members will cooperate
with their opponents in arranging a mutually agreeable date. If an
agreement cannot be reached players may contact the Ladies Committee who may
specify a tee time, award the match to one of the players or eliminate both
players from the competition.
Matches may only be
played after the stipulated date if the course has been closed on the arranged
date or if play has been suspended due to poor light and then only by
agreement with the Ladies Committee.
When a Tee time has
been agreed, if only one player is available or present on tee at the agreed
time and her opponent isn’t, then the player in attendance will go through. If
neither player is present then both will be eliminated. Substitutes are not
allowed.
Winners of the tie
must record their result on the draw sheet immediately after playing.
When the course is agreed to be
not playable then play may be suspended (rule 5.7 ) either by:-
Agreement of all players that the course is unplayable
Or By suspension by the
Organising Committee
Or by the occurrence of
lightning
Play must be
resumed as soon as is possible and by agreement of the Organising Committee
Ties:-
In the event of a match being all square after 18 holes it will decided by
"sudden death", with play continuing from the first hole. Strokes continue to
be taken as per the stroke indices. The first player to win a hole being the
winner.
