Yesterday's Captains Drive-In ceremony was
enlivened by the

Unfortunately the group

but made a good showing on the tee
Thanks to Whetstone Captains Phil Wright, Jennie Marris,
Brian Turner and Curtis Bennett for a great
day for the Members
and guests and for the Rainbows Charity

A final total of £8560
raised by members in 2024
is hander over to the local Leicester Charity
"Wishes 4 Kids"
who do a remarkable job in making childrens
dreams come true.
Thanks to all who helped raise this amazing sum. |
REMARKABLE!
Some people have done it several times.
Some have never done it even
after a lifetime of golf, but Whetstone
Junior Finley Sammels
managed to "Hole in One" in his very first
competition.
Fourteen year old Finley has only held a
handicap for 4 days but entered
the Captains' Day competition and holed out
on the 14th.
What a fantastic achievement.
Congratulations from the the Members of
Whetstone Golf Club.
